Dynamics - Allows you to simulate dynamic shaping, the first and most recognizable of the traditionally used high-end tape dynamics effects, by adding harmonic-related content to the playback or recording of your audio. For this to happen, a "baseline" dynamics level is first calculated based on the overall playback level. When this level is greater than your target, the dynamic response is shaped up and vice versa. In a sense, you are simulating a tape saturation effect. Saturation - Increases the amount of harmonic-related content in the playback or recording of your audio. The amount of harmonic content added is proportional to the difference between the target and playback levels. Limiting - In conjunction with dynamics, enables the control of dynamic limiting behavior. Limiting in the VST is done independently for each band.
